Another trait of the people of the Last Days is that they are traitors. A traitor fails and deserts their friends, family, country, and team in time of need. This refers to a person who betrays any trust or any commitment. The most tragic betrayal of all is the person who betrays Christ and the church-who turns his back on Christ and returns to the world and its crowd. Can you imagine the look of horror and disbelief on the face of people when they stand before the Lord Jesus and hear Him say: “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matt. 25:41 NKJV).
