Life After Death (Part 3)
How can you know that you are going to heaven when you die?
Got Life?
Does God exist?
Is there life after death?
What is the meaning of life?
Is this as good as it gets?
Is it possible to live forever?
Is it possible to have a relationship with God?
Since the beginning of time, people have looked for the answers to these questions. Many search for the purpose of their very existence. Through much study and scientific evaluation, a formula exists which, in fact, answers these questions. It can be simplified using the word LIFE.
L - Love
Question: What's love got to do with it?
Answer: Love has everything to do with it. God created you to have a relationship with Him. John 3:16.
I - Isolation
Question: If God loves you and desires a relationship, why do you feel isolated from Him?
Answer: Sin causes isolation from God. It is rebellion against God and keeps us from eternal life.
Nobody is perfect - Romans 3:23
Sin is the cause for physical and spiritual death - Romans 6:23
F - Forgiveness
Question: How can we get past this isolation and get in good with God?
Answer: Forgiveness is the solution.
The only way our relationship can be restored with God is that our sins must be forgiven. Jesus Christ died on the cross for this very purpose. His death made it possible to be forgiven, but you have to ask for it!
I Peter 3:18 - For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God."
E - Eternal Life
Question: Eternal life...real or ridiculous?
Answer: Eternal life and a one-on-one relationship with the Creator of the universe can be a reality for you now and forever.
John 10:10 - I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 1:12 - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
The ability to have the life you've always dreamed about is within your grasp. NOW!
Want Life? It's as easy as A-B-C.
A - Admit that you are a sinner and you are willing to turn 180° (repent) from your sin.
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. - Acts 3:19
B - Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again from the dead.
C - Confess verbally and publicly your belief in Jesus Christ.
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9
