Oh, how I praise my Lord for the obedience of Mary and Joseph! She was pregnant with the Christ-child, and they were not even married! YES! They paved the way for the ONE who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! No one can ever get to God without first going through JESUS (John 14:6)! Glory Be! Worship Him this Christmas as never before in your life!
Your passionate powerful prayers are making a great difference at the Jefferson County Jail! Men come in there crying in great brokenness and they are leaving in tears of great joy! Young men who I have never seen came to the church room with a look of “Please help me! I am so empty!” With tears flowing down their faces, they commented that they could feel the Holy Spirit during the prayer time! When I called on men to pray publicly, not one declined my invitation! Three young men waited to speak with me after the service. They were very thankful! One of them messaged me after he was released! He stated: “You came Thursday morning to preach for us. I wanna thank you with my full heart that you do what you do. God gave you a voice and you use it to perfection. You’re an inspiration for such a dark, dark world. Keep making an impact. I hope that I run into you again one day. I love you!” This past month three men gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus while nineteen men recommitted their lives to their Lord!
On Sunday morning, Nov. 17, I was privileged to deliver the message The Love of God to Beulah Baptist Church in Mohawk, TN. The power of God was moving there so strongly that you could have heard a pin drop on the carpet! When I gave the public invitation at the close of the message, an older man stepped out of his pew with his close friend escorting him! He was under very strong conviction! He came forward to say that he desired to become a member of Beulah Baptist Church! The church is in an interim period as their pastor, John Rogers, has retired. For twenty-four years, Pastor John and his precious wife, Tina, powerfully led this great New Testament church! Even with no pastor, Beulah Baptist Church is still seeing precious people saved, baptized, and joining the church! They have great unity, and their great God is blessing them! What a wonderful testimony of Pastor John and Miss Tina’s leadership!
Our great God continues to honor our faithfulness in taking His Holy Word into the marketplace through Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Television! Kim and I saw a dear lady at lunch one day who has known our family for four generations! She was so very elated to tell me that she watches the television broadcast every Sunday and that it is a blessing to her! (I normally do not get compliments like this from life-long connections! HA!) My Lord recently spoke to my heart: “You are winning at least five people to Me each week, not counting the men who are being saved at the jail!”
This past year has been the most productive year that we have ever experienced in over 32 years of full-time evangelism! All the glory, honor, and praise goes to my Lord for without Him I can do nothing (John 15:7-8)! I do the work of the New Testament evangelist for no other reason than that my Lord has called me by His marvelous, matchless, and amazing grace!
I recently received a message from a dear lady who has come to faith in Christ later in her life. She attended the soul winning clinic that I led at her church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN, from December 2023 through June 2024 on Wednesday night. She states: “I want to thank you for everything you have done for the church over the past several months! I have learned a great deal from you, not only through your sermons, but also from our Wednesday night meetings. You have helped me on my journey to know the Word of God and have taught me how to talk to others to bring them to God! On one Wednesday night, I shared that one of my students who rides my school bus was being bullied at school. I told her my story in how I found God and that she is too special to let anyone harm her! Since that time, she has reported the students who were hitting her, and even started going to church with another student on my bus! The best thing is that she told me this morning that yesterday at church she went to the altar and asked to be saved!”
On Saturday morning, October 28, 2023, the Holy Spirit moved upon me mightily. He gave me a song titled Let Jesus Set You Free. It is ready for public release! On Sunday morning, December 15th, at 11:00 AM, the Trinity Baptist Church choir in Knoxville, TN will sing it publicly for the first time. They are ably led by Pastor Tim Headrick. Senior Pastor David Stooksbury has just retired, and Pastor Justin Keck is now the senior pastor. For over 20 years, this great New Testament church has made an indelible impact upon my life, as well as my work for my Lord.
Eternity is on my heart and mind every day that I live, and if that fact ever changes, I need to quit and do something else because a real and true God-called evangelist is a real and true soul winner! I do not want anyone to die here and then live forever in the place called HELL (Matt. 18:14)! I love you! Thank you for faithfully standing with this passionate soul winner! Have a wonderful Christmas as you remember that “Jesus Is The Reason For The Season!”
