Do You Fear God? (Part 10)
Another trait of the people of the Last Days is that they are unloving. The KJV says without natural affection. People who are unloving are heartless, without human emotion or love. (I see this trait in people who say they are called by Almighty God to preach this Book!) They have a lack of feeling for other people. Other people become little more than pawns for their own use and benefit, pleasure and purposes, excitement, and stimulation. Man has been created to be affectionate-to have affection for others. It is normal for a person to have affection for his family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and to a certain extent for the stranger and fellow citizens of the world. But in these end times, people are so set on satisfying their own flesh and pleasure that they forget family, friends, and everything else. They are so set on doing their own thing and so self-centered that they have little affection for anyone or anything else. People turn to the abnormal and unnatural in relationships and behavior, pleasures and sex. They have no affection for their home. It is nothing more than a place to change clothes and sleep. There is little affection between husband and wife. A spouse is nothing more than a person to help pay the bills and to keep up a front for social acceptance. Men and women become unfaithful and perverted. There is little affection for God, friends, country, and the earth. All will be abused, ignored, neglected, and perverted. In Mark 12:30-31(NKJV) Jesus states: “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Selfishness is the law of the last days. God and His church are fitted in only when they do not interfere with personal desires and pleasures, rest and recreation. Romans 12:9-10 (NKJV) states: “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.” Do you care anything about your family? Is your relationship with your God and serving Him in the local church important to you? Do you fear God? Romans 3:18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” The people of the Last Days have no fear of God. Psalm 128:1 states: “Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.” Another trait of the people of the last days is that they are unforgiving. Vengeful and vindictive if you do not do as they think you should do. Holding sins over your head that Almighty God has already forgiven and forgotten. Is this you? Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV) states: “And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Do you fear God? Romans 3:18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” The people of the Last Days have no fear of God. Psalm 145:19 states: “He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.”
