Do You Fear God? (Part 12)

Another trait of the people of the Last days is that they are without self-control. The word in the KJV is incontinent, meaning undisciplined and uncontrolled. They have no self-control, no power to discipline themselves. They are given over to pleasure and indulgence, to passion and sexual craving, to lust and lewdness. It is a passion that grips and enslaves a person until it becomes an unbearable habit and bondage. Romans 6:12 (NKJV) states: “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lust.” What is it that controls you? Food, sensuality, sex, pornography, booze, drugs, gambling, cursing, or sports? 1 Cor. 6:12 (NKJV) states: “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” Do you fear God? Romans 3:18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” The people of the Last Days have no fear of God. Proverbs 9:10 states: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
