I saw this on social media, and it is so very true to life! “The only bird that dares to peck the eagle is the crow. It sits on the eagle’s back and bites its neck; however, the eagle does not respond, nor does it fight with the crow. It does not waste any time or effort on it as it just opens its wings and begins to climb up to the highest place in the sky. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and then the crow falls off due to a lack of oxygen. Stop wasting time with crows. They are the dangerous people who only approach your life to destabilize you to project their own storm on you. Just take them to your heights and they will disappear on their own.” Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) states: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Oh, how I praise my Lord for the way that He lifts this soul winner on the wings of eagles! The television broadcast A Date With Destiny began on the Acts 2 network last month and we are already receiving very positive feedback! A truck driver from Oklahoma called me yesterday to ask me how he could get the How To Be Born Again flyers! I have no earthly idea how he came in contact with that flyer! A public-school teacher called me Saturday requesting 100 of the flyers! Yes, our great God is still in the life changing business because that is His only business! “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10 NKJV).
The awesome power of the Holy Spirit continues to move mightily at the Jefferson County jail in Dandridge, TN! This past month two men were gloriously saved, and seventeen men recommitted their lives to their Lord! The man who was “reclaimed by his Lord” several months ago came to tell me that he had led another man to faith in the Lord Jesus! We rejoiced together as he cried tears of great joy! He hugged me so hard that I thought he was going to break me in half! Thank you for praying every Thursday morning for this soul winner! I can tell that your prayers are making a great difference! This is a very dark place, but the leadership wants to get the gospel in there because they know what a difference it makes in the lives of these inmates! When they enter the room they call the church room they are beaten down and dejected! When they leave, they have an entirely different look on their faces! They come to me with tears of joy to thank me for coming there! Their coming to the church room as well as their coming to speak with me is voluntary. I only wish that you could see their personal prayer requests! They would touch your heart!
Pastor Greg Salyer of Southwestern Baptist Church in Johnson City, TN will host this soul winner on Sunday, April 16. Under the leadership of his Lord, Pastor Greg is having a different preacher each night for a week of revival. Please pray for the awesome power of our great God to move on the scene! I can feel the brothers and sisters of Southwestern Baptist Church praying (James 5:16)!
For many years I have prayed for my Lord to save untold billions through my life and through the lives of my descendants. He is answering me! Our son in law, Graham Avis, will be ordained to be the pastor of Covert Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville, IN on Sunday, April 16. Graham was called by his Lord as a teen, but his parents interfered and refused to allow him to surrender to his Lord! When he and Katy were engaged, Graham’s Lord reminded him of His great call upon his young life! That is the way our great God works! No one can stop him! Best to not even try! “And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it-lest you even be found to fight against God” (Acts 5:38-39).
With every fiber of my being, thank you for standing with this soul winner! My God never ever fails! Praise His Holy name! “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God” (Psalm 20:7 NKJV).
