In Revelation 3:8 the Lord Jesus states: “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength (power), and hast kept (obeyed) My word, and hast not denied My name.” When the living God opens a door, nobody can shut it, and when He closes a door, nobody can open it! I have seen this happen all of my life!
A brand-new network is called Acts2 and it has only been in existence for one month. Their headquarters are in the Georgia Mission Board in Suwanee, GA. They have reached out to us with the love of the Lord to begin airing our broadcast A Date with Destiny. It began this past Sunday at 6 PM. It will also air on Saturday night at 11:30 PM. It is available for Roku, Fire TV, iOS, Android, and on the web as well as on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @ACTS2TV. I have prayed that my Lord will allow His soul winner to see literally untold billions ushered into His everlasting kingdom through my life and the lives of my descendants, and He is answering me! Praise His Holy name (Jeremiah 33:3)!
The awesome power of Almighty God continues to go before me, with me, and after me everywhere that my Lord sends me because you are praying! You can feel the deep move of the Holy Spirit at the Jefferson County Jail each week! The men comment that they know that they are in the very presence of the living God! This past month, we have witnessed one man give his heart to Jesus while twenty-three men have rededicated their lives! Last week a dear man from a major city in this country began to ask questions as he made his prayer requests. He gave his heart to Jesus and when I called on him to pray, he said that this was only the second time in his life that he had prayed! The first time was earlier in the church service!
Pastor John Rogers continues to see real spiritual fruit in the First Priority Bible Club at Westview Middle School in Morristown, TN. He recently taught them how to give their personal testimony. A 13-year-old female eighth grader stated: “A man told us about Jesus dying on the Cross for our sins. As he led us in a prayer to ask Jesus into our heart, I prayed with him. I asked Jesus to be my Savior. He has made me happier! He has brought peace into my life. I have an amazing relationship with Jesus. I pray every night and ask Him to forgive me for my sins that I committed that day.” This precious young lady is referring to Friday morning Dec. 9, 2022, when Pastor John had me to share the glorious gospel there! The gospel still works when we work (Isaiah 55:11)!
Pastor Charles Brewer of Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN had me to proclaim the gospel there recently. The Sunday morning message was Is the Devil Your Friend? The power of God was all over the place as one dear lady came to pray for her family. On Sunday night, my Lord had His servant to deliver the message Do You Fear God? A precious little girl raised her hand that she prayed with me to be Born Again, but she did not come forward during the public invitation. I always say publicly that I will be available to talk with anyone as they have need when the service is dismissed. An unusually large number of people came to me after the service! As I was greeting people, I saw the little girl who had raised her hand standing in the midst of the crowd. She walked right up to me and said: “Brother Jeff, you sure preached two power packed messages today!” I was taken aback by her intelligence! I said: “Thank you, young lady, for encouraging me.” Then, I knelt down on one knee so that I could better communicate with her. I asked: “Can I shake your hand?” She reached out to me with her beautiful little hand with joy in her eyes and on her face. I asked her to tell me her name and how old she is. She told me that she is 8 years old. I told her that I saw her raise her hand that she prayed with me to ask Jesus in her heart. I asked her: “Did you ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to come into your heart?” She said: “Yes. He is my Savior. I can tell that I am a different person.” I spoke privately after the service with her family as I gave her the New Believer’s New Testament and discussed baptism with them. She asked me: “Will Satan attack me in my dreams tonight?” She had listened intently to the Sunday morning message on the devil! Amazing!
A man was also waiting to see me after the service! He told me that he had prayed with me to surrender to his Lord’s call on his life! He wanted to speak with me privately so the youth pastor, Andrew Chambers, and I met with him as he told us about his journey. Sure enough, he has been called by his Lord! Yes, our great God can still work on Sunday night when the doors of the church are wide open for the people to come!
Mrs. Marjorie Robison is in the presence of her Lord in heaven! She and her family have been wonderful friends to us for the past twenty years! Oh, how she will be missed for she is another great Proverbs 31 lady who could walk on water if her Lord asked her to do so! Special servants like Grandmother Robison, as I called her, can never ever be replaced! We just have to ask our Lord to raise up a thousand ones just like her! I pray that we can get her plenty of company in that celestial city, Heaven! Her memorial will be this coming Saturday at 4 PM at Nina Baptist Church in White Pine, TN.
I will be traveling to the Billy Graham Library for a Thursday meeting that will sharpen my axe for my Lord! This servant can always learn from the man who preached to more people face to face than any man in history (Proverbs 27:17)! He is in Heaven while his great work as a soul winner continues here (Rev. 14:13)!
With all of my heart, thank you for praying for this soul winner and for standing with this soul winner in gifts! I promise to continue to labor night and day to reach as many spiritually lost people with the life changing message of the gospel as long as I can (1 Cor.9:22)!
