The heart of Almighty God beats 24 hours a day 7 days each week for spiritually lost people to be Born Again! Oh, how I praise His Holy name for His great love for all who are on their way to a Christless eternity in the place called hell! Oh, how I praise His Holy name that He has called me to be a tool in His holy hand to bring spiritually lost people to the saving knowledge of His Son, Jesus! In Matthew 18: 11,14 the Lord Jesus states: “For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
Praise the Lord for Godly Spirit-filled pastors like Pastor Don Bible whose heart literally beats to win spiritually lost people to faith in the Lord Jesus! I was so very blessed to serve alongside Pastor Don in the Vacation Bible School of Bibles Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, TN this past month! My Lord instructed His servant to use the Candle Illustration and the boys and girls literally hung on my every word from the Word! An eight-year-old little boy and two ten-year-old little girls gave their heart to Jesus! It was a beautiful scene that I shall never ever tire of seeing! Pastor Don and his wife, Judy, watched me do the follow-up with the children. It was evident that they knew exactly what they were doing! I gave each one a New Believer’s New Testament and a Born-Again flyer. Your gifts to this soul winning work pay for these resources!
Our great God has His own way of encouraging His faithful servants! James Graham surrendered to the call of his Lord on his life during the revival at Calvary Baptist Church in Pulaski, TN. He has already preached his first message and his church will license him to proclaim the glorious Good News this month! I was “running for exercise” a few weeks ago and a man stopped me with excitement and passion in his voice! He asked me if I am the guy who does the TV spots and a weekly broadcast. When I told him yes, he was so joyous that I thought he was just joking, but he was not! He thanked me for being faithful to the Word of God and he told me what joy our work for the Lord means to his life! After he left, my Lord spoke to His servant’s heart. “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Heb. 13:2 KJV). People also responded through the internet. One dear lady wrote: “Your service is very much appreciated today. Thank you so much.” Another lady told my sister to tell me that she watches the broadcast every week. I led Dana Stoffle and Tim Taylor to faith in the Lord Jesus after her dad’s memorial service two years ago. Then, I was honored to officiate at their wedding last fall. Last Sunday Pastor Don Letzring baptized them into the fellowship of Zion Grove Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN! It was a beautiful New Testament scene!
We are reaching more people for our Lord than at any time in my life and service to my Lord! Yes, it is hard because the devil fights you each and every day and the attacks always come from “religious people” who call themselves Christians and ministers of the gospel! Some things in life never change (Eccles. 1:9)! I have learned to just stay faithful and turn them over to the living God! In all areas of life, lazy people have always been jealous of those who give their Lord their very best each day!
This coming Thursday, August 4, I will be privileged to assist Pastor Larry and Angie Jones and a host of servants in their Back-to-School End of Summer Carnival at the McDonald Mission Center in Mohawk, TN. They are expecting to serve a large number of students and adults and they have invited this soul winner to creatively share the glorious gospel message! Will you pray that many students and adults will give their heart to Jesus?
On Sunday, August 14, Pastor Brian Wilson of First Baptist Church Whitesburg, TN has invited me to deliver the gospel in their homecoming service! Please pray that the power of the living God will invade that place!
I cannot say thank you enough to the very few servants who have stood and do continue to stand with this soul winner for over 30 years! I have no doubt in my mind that thousands have been truly Born Again through this anointed work of Almighty God! I give to Him all of the glory, honor, and praise! I love you!
