How so very blessed to live in the USA! Yes, our great nation is in dire need of a powerful move of the living God, but we are still the last best hope for the world! I am thankful for the brave men and women throughout our storied history who have fought and died to make and keep us free from tyranny! Freedom is not cheap nor is it free! Jesus said: “This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:12-13 NKJV).
What great joy to be able to serve alongside Pastor John David Shanks for the kickoff to the Vacation Bible School of Beulah Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN! My Lord had me to proclaim His powerful Word on the subject The Faith of a Child from Matthew 18:1-6. Eighty five percent of people who are ever born again in their life do so between the ages of four and fourteen. The importance of reaching children for the Lord Jesus is of great urgency!
Over two years ago, a young schoolteacher came to me after I had proclaimed the gospel at Zion Grove Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN to tell me that she had surrendered to her Lord’s call on her life to the music ministry as I gave the public invitation. Julia Christ was in tears that special Sunday morning as her church family gathered around her to congratulate her and pray for her. It was very clear to me that she meant business! The enemy tried in vain to discourage her, but he did not get the job done! Last Fall Julia competed in a talent contest sponsored by radio station Praise 96.3 FM out of Knoxville, TN. Her pastoral family, Don and Joan Letzrig, her minister of music, Charlie Rowe, and many from her family and church family were there to support her! We gathered around her as Pastor Don led us in prayer for Julia’s big day. You could feel the awesome presence of the Holy Spirit on the scene! Our great God not only heard us pray, but He answered us as Julia won the contest! The radio station has assisted Julia in planning her future as she will be singing for her Lord. Last Friday she gave her testimony live on the radio station and they played her brand new professionally recorded song, Sustainer of my Soul! It was beautiful and very Christ honoring! Please remember Julia in prayer as she seeks to glorify her Lord with the powerful singing voice that He has blessed her with.
Pastor Scott Ingram of Omega Baptist Church in White Pine, TN had this soul winner to proclaim the gospel there recently. My Lord had me to speak on the subject Let the Past Be Passed from Philippians 3:13-14. You could feel the drawing of the mighty Holy Spirit! I saw a married couple raise their hands during the invitation that they had prayed with me to “let their past be passed.” When the public invitation was in progress the lady came first to tell me of her decision and then her husband was next! The Gospel still works!
On Monday April 9, 2007, my Lord spoke to my heart. He told me that I am to be more selfless and fearless than I have ever been and to speak against the scourge of abortion. The very first television spot that we recorded was titled Life Begins at Conception. It first aired on Monday, March 1, 2010. On Friday, June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court of the USA voted to overturn the law based on the case Roe vs. Wade! Praise God that these Supreme Court Justices stood boldly in the face of great opposition and persecution! Over 63 million babies have been killed in abortion mills across America since 1973! I believe that Almighty God has a special place in Heaven for murdered babies!
On Wednesday night, July 13, Pastor Don Bible of Bibles Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, TN has invited this soul winner to share the gospel during their Vacation Bible School. Please pray that many precious boys and girls will give their heart to Jesus!
My heart beats to win people to faith in the Lord Jesus! I do not want anyone to go to the awful dreadful place called hell! Thank you for standing with this servant! “O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come” (Psalm 71:17-18 NKJV).
