Is it important to witness to spiritually lost people everywhere that we go?  Oh, YES!  When the very last person is witnessed too, Jesus will return!  Jesus states: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14 NKJV).  Are you witnessing to spiritually lost people everywhere that you go?

Pastor Dan Bell heard from his Lord to bring me to Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Mother’s Day!  I have been proclaiming the gospel here since 1997!  The servants there had been praying!  The power of the Holy Spirit was all over the place! My Lord had me to honor the mothers in attendance with the message: The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Is The Hand That Rules The World.  The text was Mark 14:1-9.  This was my first Mother’s Day in 63 years without my mom, Kate Harvel, and my second mom, Aunt Louise Wild.  I used the first Bible that my mom gave to me when I was just a little boy.  The public invitation at the close of the message was almost over and a tall and handsome 17-year-old young man stepped out into the aisle from the back row as if he had been “shot out of a cannon!”  He was broken to the point of tears!  I could see Holy Ghost conviction all over him!  He knelt at the altar with me and Pastor Bell as I shared Romans 10:13 with him.  He prayed so beautifully for his Lord to be His Savior!  Pastor Dan had the church to come and affirm him, and they did it well!  They were lined up from the front of the church to the back of the church!  It was such a beautiful scene that I shall never forget!  Then, the church honored all of the mothers in attendance.  I met with this young man and the young lady who brought him, and I explained to him the importance of having assurance of his salvation.  I gave both of them a New Believer’s New Testament as I shared with them the importance of a daily diet of prayer and the Word of God and church attendance.  After he left, the father of the young lady who had brought him to church came to me and thanked me for being so thorough with him!  One of the deacons, with tears of joy streaming down his face, stated: “Brother, I needed this today.”  AMEN!  We all need to see people born again every day!  Glory!

It was a joy to be able to honor the life of Mrs. Johnnie McCollum.  She had served her Lord faithfully for close to 50 years at Zion Grove Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN where she faithfully played the piano and organ.   Miss Johnnie told me: “I can’t teach, but I can worship my Lord by playing the piano and organ!”  She learned to play the piano as a little girl in the great state of Mississippi.  Our Lord met with us as we honored her life in her home church.

Have you ever heard of a bride and groom requesting that the minister officiating at their wedding give a public invitation for people to be born again at their wedding?  Amber Taylor and Preston Garner did this very thing!  They had me to give people an opportunity to be born again while their Christ honoring wedding was in progress!  They love the Lord!   What great joy they have brought into my life!  Right before the wedding began, a lady who was in the youth group at my home church in the late 1980’s came to speak with me.  She thanked me for teaching her how to lead spiritually lost people to faith in the Lord Jesus.  She had just led one of her coworkers to the Lord.  The lady “was” an atheist! The gospel still works when we work!

A couple that I had led to the Lord during her dad’s memorial service a few months ago recently came to church, and they came forward during the invitation time to make their salvation experience public!  I wish that you could have seen the excitement on their faces as the members of the church greeted them and encouraged them in their new walk with their Lord!  Please pray for them as they begin a new life in Christ.

Only the living God could open a door for a servant like me to take the gospel into a penal facility!  By His great grace, I have been blessed to share the glorious gospel message there on four different occasions over the past month!  Eight men have been gloriously saved and twenty-six men have rededicated their lives to their Lord!  It is so very evident that these men can truly feel my great love for them!  I just wish that you could see the look on their faces!  They are very attentive, and they do want to hear the real gospel!  The power of the Holy Spirit’s presence is so very real!  Yes, you can even see tears streaming down their faces!  One of the young men was really under conviction one day.  I could see it on his face!  I simply asked the men to sign their name if they had been born again.  He did!   One of the guards commented to me that the men speak with him about the impact that my coming there is making in their lives!   I give tracts and Bibles and follow-up materials to these dear men.  Your gifts assist me greatly in this penal facility!

I continue to hear people say that they are blessed by the television ministry.  One lady who has known me all of my life recently came to me at a funeral to tell me that she watches the broadcast every Sunday night!
