Great Is Thy Faithfulness is one of the greatest hymns of the faith!  “Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father.  There is no shadow of turning with Thee.  All I have needed Thy hand hath provided.  Great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord, to me.” My Lord told me one year ago that “If a famine ever takes place in the land, I will always look about your little ones.”  He has, and He continues to keep that faithful promise!  In Psalm 37:25 the Lord’s great servant, David, states: “I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.”

Just last week, my Lord spoke to His servant’s heart: “Son, people are being saved every week through the television broadcast.”  Oh, how I needed to hear that from my Lord! Praise His Holy Name!  I pray daily for Him to save billions before and after my coming to live with Him forever in Heaven!  The old black preacher said: “You best be careful what you ask the Lord for, He just might give it to you.”  Glory!

This past Monday, I was privileged to share the glorious gospel message at the penal facility in another city!  That door has reopened, and I praise my Lord!  The room was filled with men who hung on my every word from the WORD!  I spoke to them about One Solitary Life.  No man or woman has ever lived and died like the Lord Jesus! No one has ever been resurrected from the dead like Jesus!  He died for the sins of all mankind!  Praise His Holy Name!  Four precious men were gloriously saved! A dear man who was born again last fall came to speak with me as he was about to leave the facility to reenter life outside those walls of incarceration!  He was fearful of going back to his old ways! We prayed!  Many others rededicated their lives to their Lord!  The gospel still works when we work!  Praise the Lord for open doors to share the gospel in the pits of hell!  That is where I want to be with the greatest Book ever written in my hand!  Each Monday at 3pm, please be praying, for I will be back there, Lord willing (1 Cor. 16:9)!

Pastor Don Bible of Bible’s Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, TN in Greene County had me to proclaim the Word of God on Easter Sunday. The place was packed with people of all ages as my Lord had me to proclaim the message, The Crucifixion.  The people hung on every word from the Word.  No one came forward publicly, but I know that the powerful Holy Spirit was literally sweeping through the room (Isaiah 55:11)!

This past Sunday, I delivered the message, The Call of the Pastor to my home church, Zion Grove Baptist Church, in Sevierville, TN.  The altar was filled with dear precious people who were imploring their Lord to bring His man to be their shepherd!  Please join us in praying for God’s man to shepherd us.

On Mother’s Day, I will be honored to share the gospel at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bulls Gap, TN where Dan Bell is the pastor.  Pastor Dan told me that his Lord made it very clear to him that he is to bring this servant there for this special service!  You know that your Lord is moving when the men He has appointed to be shepherds invite you on special Sundays like Easter and Mother’s Day!  How I praise my Lord for their obedience (1 Samuel 15:22)!

My second mother, Aunt Louise Rich Wild, is in the presence of her Lord with her sister, Kate Rich Harvel, my mother!  I was honored that my cousins and their dad had me to eulogize her this past month!  She, as was my mom, was a very unique Christian lady!  She always loved me and my brother and sister just like she loved her two boys, and our lives are full and rich because she was such an integral part of them!  She was vibrant and hardworking, and she loved her Lord and His people at Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown, TN for over 75 years!  Her generation has built the great churches across America and their Lord is calling them home to Heaven!  Oh, how they will be sorely missed!  I just pray that our Lord will raise up thousands just like them!

I cannot say thank you enough to the precious few people who pray and support this mighty work of evangelism!  April 24 was our 29th year of serving my Lord as a New Testament evangelist!  I am not worthy to be called, but my Lord is worthy to receive all of the glory, honor, and praise!  Praise His Holy name!  I love you!  Thank you for loving me!

For Souls Forever In Heaven,

Jeffrey L. Harvel
