June 2020 Newsletter

It appears that the Lord’s church is being made to be remarkably silent during this time, but for the student of the Word of the Lord, it will never happen! The Apostle Paul states:  “Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the Word of God is not chained” (2 Timothy 2:8-9 NKJV). Praise His Holy name!  Glory!

About 17 years ago, I led a soul winning clinic at a church and a young mother gave her heart to Jesus while the clinic was in progress! It was an unforgettable moment in time!  I can still see her in my mind’s eye as she prayed publicly to be born again in front of all who were in attendance.  Tears of joy literally streamed down her beautiful face!  She now lives in another state, and she is faithfully living for her Lord.  She has led her granddaughter to faith in Christ as well as many of her friends. All of this has happened over the phone!  Her granddaughter and her friends live in another town not far from where I live, so I have been blessed to be able to take New Believer’s New Testaments to them! I wish that you could have seen the look on their faces as I gave them this invaluable resource!  Yes, the living God is still at work when His servants work in His harvest fields!

Pastor John David Shanks of Beulah Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN was taught to respect and support the Lord’s servants by his pastors and teachers through the years.  This past month he so very graciously brought me there to proclaim the gospel.  I literally poured out my soul in proclaiming the messages “Why Would Anyone Want to Live Forever in the Place Called Hell?”  and “A Real Witness for the Lord Jesus.”  He has led the church to begin using the media to reach this spiritually lost world and he is being highly effective!    We were able to televise my time with him through our own Facebook and YouTube Channel using Ross Productions.

It is a joy to be able to partner with real servants of the Lord Jesus in spreading the gospel internationally. I have been using the media for over ten years!  Lauren Collins, of the media ministry of First Baptist Church of Morristown, has recently informed me that she feels led by her Lord to air our work for our Lord in a marathon format.  The marathon will begin on Monday, June 29 at 12am EST through Thursday, July 2 at 12:48am EST.  This includes approximately 73 hours of content!  It will be shown on MUS Fibernet Channel 1020 and on RETV Roku Channel.  I am also sending an updated schedule of our normal airtime (see schedule at the end of this letter).

Lauren Collins, along with Hope and Faith Ross, are working with me on revising the television format.  We hope and pray that we can have it ready to go within a month.  Also, Hope and Faith Ross of Ross Productions have put together a new Facebook and YouTube channel for Win Souls For Jesus.  Please view the new work and let me know what you think.  We can reach thousands of people that we were not reaching initially! How thankful I am for the new technology that is available to soul winners like me!

The Apostle Paul states in 1 Cor. 9:22 that he has become all things to all men that he may be able by all means to save some. That is the cry of the heart of an extremely passionate soul winner who deeply desires that not one person ever go to the awful place called hell!  It is the cry of my heart, as well.  With all my heart, thank you for standing with me as I endeavor to reach as many spiritually lost people as I can with the life changing message of the gospel!  I love you!
