Do you ever think about life if Jesus had not been born? He is the only man in history who truly is “His story”! The living God has a plan, and none can thwart it! Dr. Luke tells the story of the angel coming to the shepherds. “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:9-11 KJV). Jesus, the Savior of the world, is alive! He has completed God’s plan for world redemption! GLORY!
I am so very thankful that JESUS has saved me and forgiven me for all of my wretched sins. I am so very thankful that His Heavenly Father who is also my Heavenly Father has called me to tell a spiritually lost world about Him! I can truthfully say that my heart “burns and yearns” to be a powerful tool in the hands of the living God to tell this spiritually lost world that Jesus loves them, and that He does not want them to die and live forever in the place called HELL! Jesus said this about Himself in Luke 19:10 (KJV): “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
I was privileged to share the gospel this past month at our home church, Zion Grove Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN. My Lord had me to affirm and encourage our pastor, Royce Bailey, with the message titled The Call of the Pastor from 1 Peter 5:1-4. Our church had a special time of prayer at the altar for him at the close of the service.
On Sunday morning, December 29, I will share the gospel at Bible’s Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, TN where Don Bible is the pastor. It will be Youth Sunday and Joseph Gragg, youth pastor, has asked me to speak. Please pray that young people will be born again and called into their Lord’s service.
Christmas is here once again, and I pray that you will have a wonderful time of celebrating our Lord’s miraculous birth. Please remember the family and friends who do not have loved ones with them for the first time in their life.
Thank you for standing with this servant of the Lord this past year. I am so very thankful for the very few servants who stand with me as I do the work of the New Testament evangelist. I can see eternity greater than at any time in my life! My desire to reach spiritually lost people for my Lord is greater than at any time in my life! Merry Christmas! I love you!
