THE DEED OF JEALOUSY (PART 2)

Jealousy is demonic.  It is not a work of God, nor is it a fruit of the Spirit of God! Jealousy is a work of the sinful human flesh. In Gal. 5:19-21 (NKJV) Paul tells us: “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like: of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”  Jealousy is just like all sin.  If you do not repent and give it to Jesus, it will destroy you; mentally, physically, and spiritually.  People who have never been born again and who carry jealousy in their heart will not go to Heaven when they die. They will go to Hell!  Are you a jealous person? Jealous people do not rejoice with other people when they prosper.  Jealous people can’t stand it when someone can afford something new, and they can’t.  Jealous Christian people hate and utterly despise Christians who are growing, happy, and radiant in their walk with Jesus!    Jealous people are self-centered. They want what is best for them rather than what is best for their business, home, church, and team. Jealous people do not have peace and quiet in their soul. Does this describe you? If so, repent and walk “deeper” with your Lord!
