September 2019 Newsletter

What great joy to see my Lord move on the hearts of fallen and sinful human beings all over the world in these last days in which we are now living!  The prophet Joel states: “And it will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. And even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days” (Joel 2:28-29 NASB). As our great God sends out His evangelists, thousands are being born again!

Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Sweetwater, TN had her annual homecoming service this past month. Pastor Joel Tilson called me and was very candid in telling me that he had called several men to preach there, but they were unable to come. He went on the Tennessee Baptist Convention website and saw my picture in the directory of evangelists. He then went to our website and listened to me preach.  I always love it when I am the last choice of man because I am God’s first choice!

My Lord had me to deliver the message The Sin Unto Death. The text is 1 John 5:16. This message is about the final sin of the Christian.  As soon as I gave the public invitation, the altar literally flooded with people, many of whom were weeping and trembling so strongly that they were shaking! A young man in his 30’s and an older lady were under such strong conviction that they could not talk! A nine-year-old little girl and her ten-year-old male first cousin were gloriously saved!  A young man in his early 20’s surrendered to his Lord’s call. The older lady joined the church! Pastor Joel even extended the public invitation! This was one of the deepest and most powerful moves of the Holy Spirit that I have ever witnessed in my life! My time there was certainly a divine appointment! I had never met Pastor Joel Tilson in my life until I walked into the church on Sunday morning.

Pastor Joel had this to say to this servant of the Lord Jesus: “We will see the blessings from last Sunday for weeks to come. You did an awesome job. Everyone was encouraged and blessed by your great preaching. Praise be to God. Thanks for being the kind of evangelist that God’s Word calls for” (Proverbs 27:2).

For over twenty-two years I have been blessed by being able to proclaim the gospel message on numerous occasions at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN.  Pastor Danny Bell has been faithful to serve this church as pastor for several years.  My Lord had His servant to proclaim the gospel there this past month with the message Three Things in Hell That Should Be Found in Every Church: Tears, Prayers, and A Concern for The Lost.  Pastor David Stooksbury gave me permission to use this message that his Lord gave to him in 2009.  When the public invitation began, the people came to pray for spiritually lost family and friends.  One young lady in her late teens had tears streaming down her beautiful face as she came to pray for her lost family and friends!  I was greatly encouraged as I saw many new faces here.  Our great God is honoring Pastor Danny’s labors!

On Wednesday, Sept. 18, and Sunday, Sept. 22 I will speak for my Lord at Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN where Charles Brewer is the pastor.

I continue to pray for my Lord to give His servant a strategic plan for world evangelization and that I can be in front of spiritually lost people with the Word of God in my hand twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in every hot spot in the world. Please continue to join me in this prayer!  I do not want to see anyone die and live forever in the awful dreadful place called hell!  Thank you for standing with this soul winner! I love you!

For Souls Forever In Heaven,
