Happy New Year! Praise the Lord that we serve the One who makes all things new! His name is JESUS! He can radically transform the hardest of hearts! Just ask the Apostle Paul (1 Tim. 1:12-17)!

One of the great joys of my life has been to serve alongside Pastor John Rogers of Beulah Baptist Church in Mohawk, TN. We have seen thousands of boys and girls give their hearts to Jesus through the First Priority Bible Club over the past 24 years! I was recently privileged to serve alongside him in the memorial service for Mr. Jack Renner. He and his wife Finnie are precious Christian people. They have faithfully served their Lord together for over 70 years. Finnie and her daughter, Jean Anne, and her son, Ron allowed me to give a clear presentation of the gospel to a large graveside audience!

How so very blessed that this soul-winner is to be invited back to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN! My Lord has seen fit to bring His servant here on different occasions since 1997! I have been privileged to proclaim the gospel here several times over the past month on Sunday and Wednesday! YES! The Word of God can still get the job done! The first Sunday I proclaimed the gospel here, the message title was Don’t Do It! Do Not Reject Jesus! Eternity is Way Too Long to be Wrong! This is the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. People came to the altar to pray for their lost family and friends. I was not scheduled to be here this past Sunday, but the man who was scheduled cancelled at the last minute! The chairman of deacons messaged me at 8:35 a.m. to be there by 11 a.m. if possible! I made it there on time, barely! Message Title: Don’t Wait Too Late! Text: Hebrews 9:27 (NASB) - “And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment.” The people were radared in on me as I have never seen here through the years as I literally poured my heart out to those in attendance. No one came forward during the public invitation, but after everyone left a faithful lady who has been here for many years came to me with tears streaming down her face to tell me that her brother who is spiritually lost was seated beside her! She knew that the message was for him! She has been praying for him for years! Pray with us that he will give his heart to the Lord Jesus! O, we must be obedient and faithful to speak for our Lord no matter the circumstances! On Wednesday night I am teaching them the great importance of winning people to faith in the Lord Jesus!

As you know, we live in a fallen and sinful world and our family has been battling illness as has most everyone else! By the great grace of our Lord, we have stayed faithful to do His work even when we could not put “one foot in front of the other!” HA! I had to cancel going to the Jefferson County Jail on two consecutive weeks, but we have still seen two men give their heart to the Lord Jesus while fourteen others rededicated their lives to their Lord! I am seeing men who have never prayed publicly in their lives praying publicly! You would shout “Glory To God” if you could hear them pray and sing! A bright-eyed, tall, and energetic young man spoke up during the prayer request time: “I just want to say that I am 26 years old, and this is the first time in my life that I have ever been to church!” Praise the living God for the vision of the leadership of this jail to provide a church service for these men (Proverbs 29:18)! To see their countenance, to hear their heart, to proclaim the Word of God to them, and to pray with them and for them greatly deepens my own faith! Hebrews 13:3 (NASB) states: “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.”

This coming Sunday I will be privileged to proclaim the gospel at Gray Station Baptist Church in Gray, TN where Brad Broyles is the pastor. The next morning, I will be blessed to proclaim the gospel at the annual meeting of the Fellowship of TN Baptist Evangelists which will be held at Boone’s Creek Baptist Church in Johnson City, TN. On Sunday, Jan. 28, I will be blessed to serve alongside Pastor Scott Ingram at Omega Baptist Church in White Pine, TN.

Just yesterday, I received a call from a Christian man who watches the television broadcast regularly! He thanked me for my passion to see spiritually lost people saved! We just about have a podcast ready for airing each week! We are also working on other creative ways to get the glorious gospel message to this spiritually lost world!

Now, more than ever, I need your powerful prayer support! By the great grace of Almighty Holy God, and through the empowerment of His awesome Holy Spirit, I am just getting started! Thank you for standing with this soul-winner! I love you!

For Souls Forever In Heaven,
